Spring Clean Up

This Spring, residents of Los Alamitos are encouraged to take part in the Citywide Spring Clean Up. Help keep sidewalks and streets clear of debris and vegetation and report obstructions or sight distance problems to the Los Alamitos Public Works Department at (562) 431-3538 ext. 301. Your fellow citizens depend upon your commitment to neighborhood safety.


This Halloween season, the City of Los Alamitos is excited to bring back the 6th Annual Trunk-or-Treat event featuring the Treasure Hunt. The event will give youth the chance to play games, hunt for candy, win prizes, and more! Festivities will take place on Saturday, October 28, from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Little Cottonwood Park. Youth of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best as they truck-or-treat from trunk to trunk and hunt for treasure. The event is FREE, so gather your family and friends to spend an evening getting spooked!
