Lil' Oak Preschool Program
The program will also emphasize sharing, respect, understanding, and children will build new friendships. Activities will include circle time, art, music, stories, and games. All staff are First Aid and CPR certified. Lead staff have, or are in the process of attaining, teaching credentials. Participants must be potty-trained, no pull-ups. Children attending the Monday, Wednesday and Friday class must bring a lunch.

If enrolling your child during the Winter or Spring season in the M/W/F class, children must be assessed prior to enrollment. Please contact Miss. Mackenzie at mdunlop@cityoflosalamitos.org.
Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions require an additional $20 supply fee to be paid during enrollment or on the first day of each new session.
Summer session requires an additional $10 supply fee to be paid during enrollment or on the first day of each new session. No supply fee for Optional Drop-in days.
Classes:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Ages 4 - 5 years old from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
*Must bring a lunch and a reusable water bottle. Morning snack is provided.
The Monday, Wednesday, and Friday class is for children at a pre-kindergarten level. Participants will practice counting and recognizing numbers 1- 20, write upper and lower case letters, spell their first and last names, recognize and draw 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes, introduce sight words, and much more!
Tuesday/ Thursday: Ages 3 - 4 years old from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
*Morning snack is provided. Please bring a reusable water bottle. No lunch.
The Tuesday and Thursday class will introduce your child to developmentally appropriate material. Such as the introduction of numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and recognition of their name.
Children must be fully potty trained. Pull-ups and/or diapers are NOT allowed in the program. No exceptions.
Refund / Transfer Policy:
A transfer request must be submitted 5 business days before the first day your child attends. Requests will be accepted for review but are not guaranteed. If approved, a fee of ($10 per transfer, per child) is applicable per request. No Refunds.
Department Late Policy:
$1 per minute, after 5 minutes of the programming ending. Fee is due prior to the start of the next program class date.
