The Wolves played their first competition during the weekend of April 22nd at University High in Irvine, California.  They won their first game with a score of 26-4 but lost the second game 20-34.  Overall, the team was awarded silver medals and the coaches said “everyone played well and it was a true team effort.”

Through Special Olympics, athletes with intellectual disabilities gain confidence, self-esteem, and develop life skills in a fun, supportive team environment.  Volunteers enjoy rewarding experiences as the athletes’ coaches and assistant coaches.
