Volunteer Program

Los Alamitos Volunteer Program (L.A.V.P.) members are able to learn teamwork, leadership, participate in job training workshops, and become CPR/ First Aid certified. These skills will help each volunteer develop their portfolio of professional skills and gain valuable training for their future.

L.A.V.P. is also designed to assist participants in acquiring valuable job skills by offering opportunities to get involved in the community year-round. L.A.V.P. members play key roles in enhancing the City's programs and community-wide special events. This summer, approximately 70 members volunteered to log over 3,700 hours this summer.
