The City is aware of a letter being circulated regarding the City Council’s upcoming discussion regarding ALUC. The ALUC override is an important issue that has the potential to impact all Los Alamitos resident and businesses. Fortunately, the City has done a significant amount of research into this issue to clearly outline what those impact could be. While the City did not create or send the letter that you received, we did recently hold a study session on this topic to make sure that everyone has a clear understanding of what is at stake.

Also below is a link to the presentation that was provided to the City Council during the study session. They are great tools to help better understand the impacts of this vote.
