The Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department is excited to announce the return of the Summer Parks Program sponsored by Southland Credit Union! Join us on Monday/Wednesday/Friday at Cottonwood Park (4000 Farquhar Avenue) and Tuesday/Thursday at Orville Lewis Park (3662 Kempton Drive) from 10:30am-4:00pm for this FREE program!
The program is drop-in and registration is not required. The only requirement to participate is a completed medical form for each child. The medical form can be completed on the first day your child attends the program.
Excursions take place every Wednesday in July. Sign-ups take place one week before the excursion on Monday at Cottonwood Park and on Tuesday at Orville Lewis Park on a first come, first serve basis. The first 20 participants signed up at each park will be accepted. To be eligible to attend the excursion, your child must attend the program a minimum of two (2) days a week. A completed registration form is required for your child to attend the excursion.
Based on current Orange County COVID-19 guidelines, a face covering is required at all times except while eating and while in the field of play. Field of play includes activities such as youth sports and other games such as dodgeball, tag, etc.
