Runners Take Your Mark!
(Los Alamitos, CA) – The City of Los Alamitos Recreation & Community Services Department invites children in grades 1st-8th to participate in the Los Alamitos Youth Track & Field Program. This eight-week program is a great way to exercise, meet new friends, and learn the fundamentals of track & field. The clinic will be coached by Recreation Department staff and it emphasizes fun, exercise, coordination and sportsmanship. Clinics are held every Tuesday from 4:45 to 5:45 pm at the Oak Middle School track field beginning April 10th and ending May 29th. The program will consist of 7 weeks of clinic style practice and instruction that culminates in the exciting Los Alamitos Youth Track Meet during the 8th week. This will give kids a chance to show off the result of all their practice and hard work! Participation award and t-shirt are included with registration. Don’t delay! Register as soon as possible and let an exciting, memorable experience begin!
