City of Los Alamitos Measure Y

After several months of gathering community feedback about the future of Los Alamitos, the City Council unanimously voted to place Measure Y, the Los Alamitos Quality of Life, 911 Police Response, Business/Job Protection Measure, on the November 3rd ballot.


Virtual Community Center

The Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department strives to create quality of life for its community. During this unprecedented time we continue to create quality of life by bringing the community free, safe recreational activities for the entire family to enjoy.

November 3, 2020 General Municipal Election

The General Municipal Election is held on the first Tuesday in November of even numbered years to elect members of the City Council and to consider local ballot measures. This year there are three Council seats to be filled in Districts 1, 2, and 3. Candidates elected at the November 3, 2020, election will serve a four-year term.
