Street Sweeping Services
Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA)
is now serving Los Alamitos Residents and Businesses
As an essential service, street sweeping serves as one of many best management practices to control and improve water quality. Motorized sweeping removes visible and invisible debris from the streets before it reaches storm drains. Visible debris such as paper and leaves, can collect in the gutter, which blocks storm water facilities and can cause localized flooding during heavy rains. Invisible debris, such as metal particles and other hazardous waste products left by passing vehicles can be extremely harmful to fish and other wildlife if it reaches creeks, rivers, beaches and bays.

About Your Service Provider
In 2022, the City's street sweeping contractor, Clean Street, LLC., was acquired by Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA). With their purchase, SCA has rebranded the street sweepers formerly utilized by Clean Street with their logo and information. The purchase of Clean Street does not change the City's contract or the terms of the agreement. SCA and the City will work to ensure that residents and business owners continue to receive the highest quality of street sweeping services. If you have any questions, or seek additional information please contact the Development Services Department at (562) 431-3538 or via email at email@example.com.
