Balance & Fitness Class
Join our popular Balance and Fitness Class offered every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Los Alamitos Community Center (10911 Oak Street). This free class covers specific balance techniques, exercises, and fitness activities in a safe environment. Participants engage in exercises to improve balance and quality of life. CLASS IS CURRENTLY FULL.
Senior Stretch and Strength Senior Fitness and Mobility
Come join us as we move and build strength and endurance to some fun and groovy music. We will start off with a good morning stretch and get the blood flowing with light low impact movements. Part of the class will be done standing and the other half seated. The health benefits of movement and light weight training is essential and vital during older adulthood. Los Alamitos Senior Club
The Los Alamitos Senior Club provides opportunities to meet new friends, develop new interests and socialize with peers.

to play games, enjoy luncheons, friendly

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) classes at St. Isidore Historical Plaza
The Cal State Long Beach chapter of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) offers classes for adults age 50+ at the beautiful St. Isidore Historical Plaza in Los Alamitos. OLLI's mission is to "provide quality educational, social, and personal renewal opportunities for older adults" through innovative and intellectually stimulating classes and programs. Classes charge a nominal fee and require a membership to OLLI. For information, contact 562-985-8237.
Food Programs
Dine In & Dough House
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our Dine-In & Dough House programs. The Dough House runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. with coffee and bread/pastries from local restaurants and bakeries upon availability. Lunch is served at our Dine-In Program at 11:00 a.m. for a fee of $7. Advanced reservations are required at least 24 hours prior in order to secure your seat, 562-430-1073. Menu is subject to change without notice. Special pricing may apply for holiday meals.
Senior Grocery Program
We partner with Second Harvest Food Bank and Feeding America to provide FREE grocery items on a first come, first served basis using a raffle system. The program takes place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays while supplies last. We ask that you arrive no sooner than 12:45 p.m. and bring a cart or bag to carry your groceries home.
