Neighborhood Clean Up Day 2026

In partnership with your solid waste services provider Universal Waste Systems (UWS), the City of Los Alamitos will be hosting this event to provide the opportunity for residents to dispose of bulky items, certain electronic equipment/waste, yard waste, and free paper shredding.

The City of Los Alamitos will host a Neighborhood Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., exclusively for Los Alamitos residents. In partnership with Universal Waste Systems (UWS), the event offers residents a convenient opportunity to dispose of bulky items, electronic waste, and yard waste, as well as receive free paper shredding services.

Please note that access to Pine Street at Florista Street will be restricted from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. during the event. Event entry will begin at Los Alamitos Boulevard and Florista Street and proceed through the designated route to the admission area, where Los Alamitos residency verification will be required.
