Project Description
The Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) will start construction later in October 2021 on the Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Project. OC San will clean and inject chemical grout into the pipelines and rehabilitate or replace manholes along the highlighted section of the entire project area map.
The project will be split into two phases:
- Phase 1: Starts at Lexington Drive toward Katella Avenue, then proceeding west toward Los Alamitos Blvd. – work will continue south on the northbound lanes of Los Alamitos Blvd. concluding in Seal Beach.
- Phase 2: Starts at Oak St. toward Katella Ave. and proceeds east toward Los Alamitos Blvd. Work will continue south on the southbound lanes of Los Alamitos Blvd. concluding in Seal Beach.
Project Background
This project is part of the Western Regional Sewer Program that is replacing and/or rehabilitating over 20 miles of sewer in six cities and unincorporated area of the County of Orange known as Rossmoor.
Schedule
Construction is to begin October 2021 - Winter 2022. Day and night work will be needed to complete the project.
